System Architecture

Client Layer (React Frontend)

Vite-powered React application with Tailwind CSS, providing authentication UI, Kanban board interface, admin panel, team analytics, and user profiles.

Server Layer (Flask Backend)

Flask application with REST API endpoints for authentication, task management, admin operations, notifications, user profiles, and team statistics. Socket.IO enables real-time WebSocket connections.

Database Layer (MongoDB)

MongoDB Atlas cloud database storing users, tasks, notifications, allowed emails whitelist, and auto-increment counters. Fully managed with automatic backups and scaling.

External Services

Google OAuth 2.0 for secure authentication and identity verification. Vercel for serverless deployment with automatic scaling.

Real-Time Notification System

Socket.IO Architecture

TeamOps uses Socket.IO for persistent WebSocket connections between the server and all connected clients. When any user performs an action, the server broadcasts real-time notifications to all team members instantly.
